Naming, branding and website for a brand new experiential services agency who work with some of the biggest brands in the world.
Part one
The brief
When our existing award-winning field sales agency McCurrach asked us to help them to create a brand new brand for a new experiential marketing business start-up we jumped at the chance!
McCurrach felt they were restricted by being seen as a traditional field sales agency and opened up discussions about an exciting experiential spinoff brand that would focus on creating brilliant brand experiences for global brands including Walls, Heineken and Microsoft.
Part two
The work
We started with a naming brief to establish a brand name that resonated with the type of work they do.
Once we'd settled on "Wave", our focus was on building a flexible, exciting and engaging brand that the team there could really own and grow. We looked at everything from the brand mark and visual elements, to colour palette, campaign style, photography and tone-of-voice.
Launching a brand new brand
We rolled out loads of brand assets from pop ups to presentation decks, helping create assets for the reveal and the internal brand launch event and celebrations.
The strongest brands are brands that are loved by their own people who are the strongest of brand ambassadors. It's amazing to see how our brand has come to life and for so many to have jumped on the wave and engage with it.
An engaging online experience
Delivering on Wave's promise of exciting and engaging experiences, the website had to match. Our fully responsive Umbraco CMS based website featured subtle, quirky animations, parallax scrolling and micro interactions, we created a unique experience which mirrored the Wave ethos and brand personality perfectly. We also produced copywriting based on the tone of voice we developed for various high-level pages throughout the website, creating a cohesive experience both visually and literally.
